Learn Mandarin Chinese In Easy Way

With the booming of Chinese economy and culture, many people start to learn basic Chinese. There are so many Chinese dialects used in each individual provinces or countries and so which are the most commonly used dialects? The most commonly used dialects that can be understood by most Chinese is actually Mandarin.
Mandarin was originally defines as a group of dialects that was spoken by the people of Beijing as well as the area of northern China. The term is now used to describe the standard Chinese language, in which case it is the type that is spoken by the largest amount of Chinese people. This language is spoken in the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of China (Taiwan), and is one of four official languages that are spoken in Singapore. This factor means that your knowledge of this language will allow for easier communication with the greatest number of Chinese-speaking countries, making your decision to learn to speak Mandarin a good one. This will solve the difficulties when it comes to communicating with one another.
In order to learn a language well, one must take as take into consideration and attention in 5 language areas - speaking, listening, reading comprehension, writing, and grammar. Among these there are three big factors, that make learning Mandarin so much easier. These are alphabet, grammar and sentence construction.
1. Chinese Alphabet: When most people think of Chinese, they think of those intricate pictogram characters used for writing the Chinese language. The problem is that the pictograms give no indication as to how the Chinese words should sound which leads to difficulty. However the solution for it is that instead of learning that pictogram better to go with phonetic system known as Pinyin. This is now the standard system adopted by Chinese and is based on the Western a,b,c alphabet, just like English.
2. Learning Grammar: Grammar is an important factor that is to be considered while learning any language. Chinese grammar is much easier. There are no tenses to struggle with. No past tense and no future tense, just the present tense. In order to refer to events in the past or the future, in Mandarin you have to put a reference to time into the sentence, for example “yesterday” or “next week”.
3. Constructing Sentence: Once you get familiar with the Chinese alphabets and thus the words and further you know the grammar making a sentence in Chinese is much simpler. Mandarin sentences are usually very direct. If you said the equivalent in English, it would often be considered as very rude. But it sure makes Mandarin Chinese easier to learn!
Chinese is a truly fascinating language to study and it is relatively simple to learn to speak Chinese at the fundamental level. Chinese is based on a simple structure language and character structure, and it uses varying tones to give different meanings to a word. As soon as you start to learn Chinese, you will realize though, that it is so much more than just a language though.
