People have many personal matters to take care of apart from their work, like their children or their elderly parent, and also they might be fed up of traveling to the work place. The simple answer to any of those questions is telecommuting.
There is suddenly a boost of interest with the employees to telecommute. But the top level management or the directors do not always seem to be happy with this idea. For some reason the trust is not there and they tend to think whether the workers would work as much as they do by being at the work place. When your boss does not want to change you can always go for another job and change your career to telecommute. A teacher would be working under a company by telecommuting and they will be assigned to teach students who are willing to learn online via video conferencing. In this method students can choose their preferred teacher unlike at a school where the student is appointed by the school itself. The student will have the freedom to decide whether the teacher good enough to meet his/her requirements .
Telecommuting work is mostly common amongst IT companies. Majority of work related to many IT specializations do not require a supervisor at the time the work is done due to the uniqueness of each and every IT professional. Mainly a rating for the work is done at the end and therefore it hardly matters whether an IT professional works at the office or at home. In a group project work a group chat could be setup in order to discuss the difficulties and the project plans of the team in case of a re planning of the project.
Number of companies who are willing to change to telecommuting environment is increasing day by day and half of USA’s companies might do so in a few years time. The numbers are growing and it has become the new trend, a trend which will enhance the living quality. Next time you look for a job make sure it is a telecommuting job.
